At the end of the 19 century, Jose Campos Garin, Marquis of Iznate built this group of houses know as the casas del campo. Made up ot two blocks, separate by a street, one of these flat was occupied by Picasso during the part of his life he spent in Málaga.They have three floor with large balconies and attic.

The sculpture of Pablo Ruiz Picasso was made of bronze by Francisco López Hernandez.It was placedon 5 December,2008.It's situated in the 'Plaza de la Merced',in front of Picasso's birthplace.
